I waited only an hour and a half for the stars to come into view, and the crescent moon to creep closer to the horizon. I looked up and saw a dozen satellites floating overhead, one of which may have been the International Space Station. It was so peaceful and beautiful. I looked around and realized why; I was the only one on top of the mountain! Not a single car in the parking lot. Just me, the breeze and stars swirling above.
