I couldn’t help but take notice of the vibrant tufts of Snakeweed contrasting against the black volcanic basalt stones found in Petroglyph National Monument. The recent rain must have been welcoming in this dry region and when the sun’s rays projected out from the cloud layers, the yellow-green plants burst in color.
